D.Ed | B.Ed Fresh Admission & UGC new guidelines over university UG-PG exams
B.ed Exam Updates
Whereas there were the same guidelines by UGC earlier to conduct the terminal semester (final year) exams and to promote the first year students on their internal exam’s performance, again the same notification has been served. Due to COVID-19 threat, many state governments including Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Punjab had mandated to cancel all the UG-PG university level exams and all semester students to be promoted on their internal assessments performance.
As per new guidelines, now universities have to conduct exams even it takes up-to September end, taking the note of pandemic circumstances in that particular region. Now students have little choice but to wait for the state government’s stand over these new guidelines as the circumstances are deteriorating because of CORONA pandemic. Also Online B.Ed admission applications must be entertained for fresh session so universities can’t drag examinations for a long period otherwise next session will fail to meet minimum required tenure.
This year fresh B.Ed admission process also may change from centralized counseling procedure to manual process to particular university. Indira Gandhi university (IGU,Meerpur) has already given some indications of this move. Due to Corona pandemic, it seems for this year session to get delayed as exams have not been conducted so far which had to be conducted in the month of July as usual.
As per UGC new guidelines this seems pretty clear that final year B.Ed and other stream students will have to take exams whereas first year students can be promoted on their internals assessment performance. SCERT also seems to take D.Ed examinations but has not made any clarification. D.Ed admission process may start somewhere around mid of August this year. Interested aspirants can approach our team for consultation, guidance over the admission or other course related enquiries. CBSE has already declared the result of secondary standard on the basis of taken exams pre-lockdown. Those students, who are not satisfied with the result prepared, can appear in next semester exams for improvement.
