Latest news on B.Ed 2018 admission : There has been latest information from NCTE sources that Bachelor of education course might soon be offered for 4-year integrated course instead of 2-year course. This move has been taken in order to make this course happen only for serious candidates like B.Tech or MBBS programs. Those who are willing to shape their career in teaching taking their decision right after completing their 12th like any other stream. Other teaching courses like JBT and M.Ed still remain for the duration of 2 years.
Most probably this session 2018 would be the last chance to enroll in 2-year B.Ed course for graduates willing to be a secondary level teacher. NCTE is all set to introduce 4-year integrated BA-BEd or BSc-BEd from next session. Although, this initiative of government is under a strong questionnaire because B.Ed used to be of 1-year duration course just three years ago. This move seems to be another experiment to raise quality standards of teaching.
