Master of Education is a two-year full-time course for those who are already having a Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized university and are willing to go for higher teacher education qualification. This course helps to understand the teaching profession in deep sense and empowers one to be promoted on principal position and also to teach higher classes.
M.Ed Admission Process:
Most of the state government universities offering this program start their counseling process somewhere in the months of June July every academic year. One can be allocated one of the NCTE approved M.Ed colleges nearby the location of the choice asked by the student among the options provided by the concerned university. If you have B.Ed degree with minimum fifty percent score, you are eligible to participate in the counseling procedure on the merit basis since the colleges are allocated by the university considering your score to make it to cut off list. You are advised to consult with the M.Ed consultants nearby because they can guide you better since they have the best MEd colleges on their list.
About the course structure:
The course duration is two years and there would be four semesters in all. B.Ed qualified students can easily get familiar with the course content but M.Ed has semester exam pattern whereas in B.Ed has annual exam pattern. Also there would dissertation to be procured in MEd degree program as this is not the requirement of BEd course. About practical files and other activities, there is not much difference between these two courses. Talking about the fee structure, most of the M.Ed colleges in Delhi NCR charge the same fee as of BEd fees charged by university affiliated colleges in that territory. Fee installment process is also similar to that of B.Ed fee installment pattern.
